Hier Elaine Paige et Alexandra Burke on annoncé la liste des nominations pour les Olivier Awards 2018. Les lauréats seront récompensés lors de la cérémonie du 8 avril qui se déroulera au Royal Albert Hall. Catherine Tate présentera la soirée qui sera retransmise en directe sur ITV et sur Facebook Live en dehors du Royaume-Uni.
L'an dernier “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” battait tous les records avec 11 nominations, cette année “Hamilton” fait encore mieux avec 13 nominations. Viennent ensuite “Follies” et la pièce “The Ferryman” avec respectivement 10 et 7 nominations.
Le grand vainqueur est le National Theatre de London qui totalise 22 nominations pour 4 productions dont “Follies”.
